The XXtra FM Synthesized Receiver is the world's first small size, lightweight, low-power synthesized receiver for R/C cars and boats. Based on the reliable world-champion XXL circuitry, the XXtra additionally has a crystal-controlled, phase-locked loop oscillator, plus five output channels, giving users the ability to control extra servos.
Perhaps the biggest feature of this little receiver, and what sets it apart from others, is that it does not use a receiver crystal. You can forget about those extra receiver crystals you're used to carrying, now selecting the frequency channel is as easy as rotating two switches. Getting dialed in has never been easier. For a completely crystal-less experience, the XXtra can be used with its ideal counterpart: the Switch Synthesized M8 Module. This dynamic combination makes running a car at the track extremely convenient by eliminating the need to change out receiver or transmitter crystals.
Performance-wise, the XXtra is a crowd pleaser with its outstanding range, superior noise reduction, low voltage operation (down to 3.0 volts DC), and solid state reverse voltage protection. It of course works with all popular radio systems and DSC (Direct Servo Control) connections, and accepts Futaba, JR, Sanwa, Hitec, & new KO connectors.
Please note: the XXtra is only compatible with transmitters that use PPM Modulation. The Team Losi Sport transmitter is not compatible with any Novak receiver.
